Episode 38: Trump recovers and markets soar.
Market News
Hello and welcome to another episode of Pandocap. We start the week off positive on the markets as Trump's conditions improve, doctors say.
As we noted last week there was a brief sell-off on Friday but overall levels are still holding up and higher than expected. Everything is higher across the board and investors are still hopeful on a stimulus package being put through.
China’s fast recovery from the pandemic is also helping power large stock market rallies. This past summer Chinese stocks fared higher than US counterparts and China’s economy grew 3.2% higher in the second quarter. Predictions are that once the vaccine is introduced things can jump even higher on the markets.
Regal Cinemas will suspend their business because of the lack of movie releases and moviegoers. As Hollywood postpones big-budget films the Cineworld is impacted because people want new movie releases. The CEO of Regal Cinemas Moody Greidinger uses the analogy, “It’s like going to the grocery store that has no groceries”. We hope for the best because I love my holiday family movie time.
